Dryshod, the new benchmark in performance waterproof footwear for outdoor recreation and hunting, has announced its new Trailmaster 100-percent waterproof boot just in time for spring turkey season.
Hunters encounter all types of terrain in the field, from slippery mud and rocks to steep, leaf-covered slopes and standing water. This is why "general purpose" waterproof boots are typically ill-suited for most conditions hunters face. The new Trailmaster, on the other hand, covers all the bases, beginning with an exceptionally aggressive DS1 molded outsole with a tread pattern featuring robust tread blocks, high void areas, generous siping, and pointed nibs to provide good purchase on any surface.
Genuine hand-laid rubber overlays offer maximum protection and durability to resist punctures from brush, briars, and other harsh vegetation. To promote water shedding and to prevent sogginess in extreme wet conditions, the 5mm DENSOPRENE® foam insulated bootie calf pipe boasts a HYDROKOTE® water-repellent treatment, allowing water to shed instead of saturating the upper. Additional features include an EVA midsole to optimize comfort and block cold, a removable molded EVA sock liner, and a nylon shank for improved stability. For hunting in warmer conditions, the 4-way stretch breathable airmesh lining enhances airflow to reduce sweating and moisture buildup.
The Trailmaster is offered in men's sizes 7-16.
