Vigilant Gear, LLC hires Jason Curns as new COO.
Curns brings over 15 years of industry experience to the Vigilant Gear, LLC team. Coming from a strong manufacturing background with Mega Arms, Grey Ghost Precision and DRG Manufacturing, Jason is no stranger to the many challenges a manufacturer in this industry faces.
“Jason was literally the one and only call that I made. I knew from our previous personal and professional relationship that his personality, leadership style, and expansive manufacturing experience was precisely what we needed to help us achieve the next level in our operational excellence,” said Nate Treadaway, CEO of Vigilant Gear, LLC.
Having relocated to Boise, Idaho, Jason will focus heavily on the Primary Weapons Systems (PWS) manufacturing facility which houses 30 CNC machines. PWS is known in the industry as one of the few firearm manufacturers who handle much of their manufacturing in-house. His focus will be on machine shop efficiencies and driving key operating process improvements.
“After speaking with Nate, I jumped at the possibility of being a part of Primary Weapons Systems and Lone Wolf Arms! These brands have always pushed the limits with product quality, innovation and in-house manufacturing, the decision was a simple one to come aboard and work to utilize my years of manufacturing and industry experience to propel these brands to prominence where they belong. Along with our already world class offerings, I find myself now surrounded by an amazing Team, where we can work as one to accomplish anything we set out to do,” said Curns who will oversee both PWS and Lone Wolf Arms in this position.
