SLG2, Inc., the outdoor industry’s leading experiential marketing company, is bringing its Shoot Like A Girl experience to Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, Missouri, during the Professional Bull Riding event, August 29-31.
Guests are invited to stop by:
- Friday, August 29: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Saturday, August 30: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Sunday, August 31: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
This interactive event provides a safe, welcoming space to introduce women and families to shooting sports, emphasizing safety, responsibility and empowerment.
“We are thrilled to bring our one-of-a-kind semi-tractor trailer experience to Springfield during the Professional Bull Riding event this weekend,” said Karen Butler, President, SLG2, Inc. “We offer a family-friendly environment for all skill levels, where our team of talented female instructors will lead engaging and empowering experiences.”
The event will feature Shoot Like A Girl’s state-of-the-art mobile range, allowing participants 18 and older the opportunity to handle handguns and long guns and experience the excitement of shooting under the guidance of certified female instructors. These experienced instructors will offer a comprehensive introduction to firearm safety and handling using a Firearms Training Systems (FATS) by InVeris military-grade simulator, which provides immediate feedback on recoil, impact and sound. This experience fosters a fun, secure and comfortable atmosphere, building confidence in shooting sports and encouraging participation in various outdoor activities. Shoot Like A Girl instructors also offer safety talks for youth under 18 years old.
Outside of the range, attendees can explore the Shoot Like A Girl gun bar, where a variety of firearms, including revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, shotguns and rifles, will be available for comparison. Additionally, participants can interact with product displays and demonstrations featuring a range of items, including the MAGPUL DAKA Grid system, SABRE inert pepper spray and Gun Tote’n Mamas Original concealed carry handbags. Women and men of all experience levels are welcome, and no prior knowledge is necessary to participate in this free event. All necessary equipment will be provided to guests upon arrival.
