GAME & FISH and Petersen's HUNTING Share "The Turkey Hunter's Journal" Video Series

Celebrate age-old turkey hunting traditions with Outdoor Sportsman Group's all-new video series – "The Turkey Hunter's Journal," Presented by Lacrosse Footwear, in Partnership with TriStar Arms and MOJO Outdoors, and in cooperation with GAME & FISH and Petersen's HUNTING. Available now to watch exclusively on Game & Fish's website, Outdoor Channel's YouTube and MyOutdoorTV (MOTV), this 4-part series gives viewers an in-season look at the good work being done all year long by the Lowcountry Game Bird Foundation (LCGBF) in South Carolina and by the Turkey Track Club in South Dakota, and spotlights both organizations' turkey hunting heritage and on-going conservation efforts to make sure there are plenty of turkeys for today – and for the turkey hunters of tomorrow.

With partners Lacrosse Footwear, TriStar Arms and MOJO Outdoors, and hosted by the experienced team of Kali Parmley (Host of Wild Upland, Editor in Chief of Gun Dog and Backcountry Hunter magazines) and the well-traveled Petersen's HUNTING Managing Editor Colton Heward, "The Turkey Hunter's Journal" takes viewers to two very different but iconic turkey hunting destinations – Coastal Carolina/Georgia for Eastern birds and the Black Hills of South Dakota for Merriam's gobblers – and shares the stories of two amazing groups that are equally dedicated to wild turkey hunting and conservation.

Follow Colton Heward as he hunts with LCGBF Board Member and longtime industry friend Jason Hart and takes part in the organization's invitational that raises $100,000 in two days for wild turkey conservation. Leading wild turkey researcher, Dr. Mike Chamberlain, from the University of Georgia, shares some amazing findings from his groundbreaking wild turkey DNA study, which is funded in part by the work of the LCGBF. Then, join Kali Parmley as she shares in the excitement of run-and-gun hunting alongside members of the oldest wild turkey camp in America and learns some of the secrets to their rich hunting history.

Tim Cremin, Head of Programming at Outdoor Sportsman Group (OSG), expressed his enthusiasm for the unique, beautifully filmed new series. "We're really excited about 'The Turkey Hunter's Journal' because it takes viewers deeper into turkey hunting and thoughtfully shows the intimate connections that hunters have with the wild turkey. We're proud that OSG, in collaboration with top partners like Lacrosse, TriStar and MOJO, is doing what we can to spotlight conservation efforts on both the local and national level."

"The Turkey Hunter's Journal" is available for streaming on Game & Fish, Outdoor Channel YouTube and MyOutdoorTV (MOTV).
