AG Composites Torture Test Video Series No. 2: How Much Can They Take?

OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. --- When it comes to touting how tough and durable hunting products are, many companies talk the talk, but do they really walk the walk in terms of actual torture testing? One company, AG Composites -- the leader in the design and production of custom rifle stocks for both hunters and the world’s top competition shooters – not only takes torture testing to the limits but has made testing by independent YouTubers available, unedited, for you to see in an exciting new video series.

In Video No. 2 of the Torture Test Series, independent testers take an AG Composites Visigoth carbon fiber stock into the field and try and destroy it by aggressively running an ATV over it, spinning high-speed doughnuts on the stock as they try and demolish it. The result? A couple of minor paint scratches but no structural damage, and the accessory ARCA rail and sling swivel studs remain intact. This follows up on Video No. 1 of the Torture Test Series, in which the testers hung a total of 180 lbs. of barbell weights from the front sling swivel stud of a Privateer carbon fiber stock with no ill effect.

“No matter how ugly things get on the outside, you can trust that inside each AG Composite carbon fiber stock lies uncompromising strength and functionality,” said Matt Tandy, AG Composites owner. “We wanted to show our customers just how far our company has pushed the boundaries of carbon fiber technology in creating reliable rifle stocks for avid shooters and hunters everywhere in an entertaining and educational way. This series of short videos does just that. You won’t want to miss it.”
