Beretta is pleased to announce that the new 1301 Tactical Mod.2 Shotgun has been awarded the esteemed 'Shotgun of the Year' title at the 2024 Industry Choice Awards (ICA) for the 2nd year in a row. The ICA evaluators are a diverse group of firearms enthusiasts from the Southeast and Midwest of the U.S., each consuming over 5,000 rounds of ammunition annually and possessing extensive experience with various firearms, optics, and accessories. These evaluators participate in multiple competitions and events across several states and rely on personal interactions, online research, and videos to guide their purchasing decisions, which often exceed $5,000 for daily carry, competition, or home protection. The ICA provides free and unbiased feedback through a rigorous testing process conducted in both retail and range environments by 20 to 30 experienced evaluators.
